Unleash the Power of Algorithmic & Automated Trading
MultiCharts is a professional charting and automated trading platform, designed for futures, stock, and forex traders.
A key feature of MultiCharts is the compatibility with industry-standard TradeStation® EasyLanguage®.
EasyLanguage® studies can be customized, optimized, and back-tested prior to implementing them on the real market.
MultiCharts includes very powerful and flexible charting that
handles multi-symbol and multi-timeframe charts, and works with most leading streaming data vendors.
Time-based and Count-based, as well as Bid, Ask, or Trade-based data series can be mixed within the same chart.
According to a reviews in Technical Analysis of STOCKS & COMMODITIES, the premier magazine for technical traders,
"TS Support has come up with something that is fast, flexible, and robust. They seem to have considered the needs of every type of trader when they developed [MultiCharts]."
Please read this and other reviews of MultiCharts by leading financial magazines.
MultiCharts' local data management system, QuoteManager, collects and locally stores all of the data received from the data feeds. QuoteManager handles all aspects of data maintenance and offers convenient database and symbol list management features:
Data merging allows the use of two separate data sources, for real-time and historical data, in a single chart. This advanced feature resolves the situation when a broker does not provide historical data, and offers a cost-effective solution by seamless integration of any real-time data source with a free historical data source. For example, a single chart can be plotted using the historical data from Free Quotes, and the real-time data from Patsystems.

Vendor Symbol List
← improved in 5.5
MultiCharts offers the convenience of utilizing the symbol lists provided by data vendors. The lists can easily be searched by partial name or description, freeing you from having to keep the track of the exact symbol names of thousands of symbols on the lists.

MultiCharts ASCII mapping feature is a convenient alternative to having to regularly update symbol data manually. The file path and format are indicated, or mapped, for each symbol. Every time that a mapped symbol's chart is crated, the file is automatically accessed and the data converted and plotted. This feature is particularly convenient when working with a large number of 3rd party data files.

Custom Session Templates
MultiCharts comes with a number of trading session templates with pre-configured parameters for the most major market sections. Custom templates, with custom trading session parameters, can also be created. To define the session parameters, a session template can be chosen for a symbol, without the need to configure session parameters for each symbol individually.

Online QuoteManager Mode
QuoteManager local data management system can be set to continuously receive the specified symbols' real-time data and store it locally.
This mode can be used when there is no immediate need to plot the symbol, but the symbol's data must still be stored. The stored data can later be used as
historical data for creating charts. Data obtained thru online mode can be valuable when historical data is not available, or is of lesser quality, than real-time data.
The data in majority of existing formats can be imported from the text (ASCII) files. While nearly all formats can be converted automatically, the conversion for a format that is not recognized can be configured manually. Quote data stored by MultiCharts can be exported to a text (ACSII) file.

Online & Offline Server Modes
Data server mode selection provides flexibility for working with data feeds. In addition to the usual online mode, MultiCharts can be used to work on strategies and chart analyses offline, using the data automatically stored on the hard drive for offline access. If a data feed is available only on weekdays, the locally stored data can be used on weekends.

Data Gap Filling
MultiCharts collects and locally stores all of the data received from the real-time data feeds. Any gaps in the locally stored data are automatically filled by obtaining data from historical data feeds. The process is highly efficient, obtaining only the missing historical data rather than data for the entire period. If a data feed makes gap filling impractical by forcing a lengthy download of 24 hours of data for any intraday query, the feature can be disabled.
Data Editing
The locally stored data can be viewed and edited, and bad ticks quickly and easily found and corrected. It is possible to add new or delete existing data.

Built-In Data Sources
To get the most out of MultiCharts you should have a real-time data service subscription from a data vendor or broker. But even if you don't subscribe to a real-time data feed, you can still use Free Quotes or ASCII data. MultiCharts works with many different data sources:
Tick-by-tick 6 months back, one-minute bars 2 years back and daily bars (inception for futures and indices, 20 years plus for stocks and since 2000 for Forex)
* Plus applicable exchange fees and taxes. The prices presented in the table are subject to change from time to time. We don't guarantee the accuracy of the presented information.
